On July 1, 2018, minimum wage in Oregon increased across the state:
- Portland Metro area: minimum wage went from $11.25/hr to $12.00/hr.
- “Standard Counties” (areas outside the Urban Growth Boundary in Washington, Multnomah and Clackamas Counties): minimum wage went from $10.25/hr. to $10.75/hr.
- Non-urban counties: minimum wage went from $10.00/hr. to $10.50/hr. Non-urban counties include: Baker, Coos, Crook, Curry, Douglas, Gilliam, Grant, Harney, Jefferson, Klamath, Lake, Malheur, Morrow, Sherman, Umatilla, Union, Wallowa and Wheeler.
