As you know, Oregon’s law prohibiting pregnancy discrimination and requiring accommodations for pregnancy, childbirth and related conditions goes into effect on January 1, 2020. Employers are required to post about the new law and provide notice to employees as follows:
- New employees – at the time of hire;
- Existing employees, by June 29, 2020; and
- Any employee who informs the employer of the employee’s pregnancy, within 10 days.
