Elizabeth Semler is a Partner and Chair of the Employment Law Group at Sussman Shank LLP.
Elizabeth advises a diverse group of clients in a broad range of business and employment matters. Her employment practice includes counseling employers on a wide range of complex employment issues including: Federal and Oregon leave laws; workplace harassment and discrimination; Oregon and Washington sick leave laws; compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act and equivalent Oregon statute; employee discipline and documentation; wage and hour issues; and issues related to employee classification. Additionally, Elizabeth prepares employment and severance agreements, employee handbooks, employment policies, and conducts on-site training for employers on harassment, discrimination and medical leave.

Kristen Hilton is a Partner and practices in the Employment Law Group at Sussman Shank LLP.
Kristen’s practice is focused on complex civil litigation and employment matters including enforcement of contracts and post-termination non-competition and non-solicitation restrictions as well as claims for business interference and trade secret misappropriation. Kristen also holds the designation of Certified Information Privacy Professional for the United States (CIPP/US), and she uses her privacy and data protection experience to counsel employers on best practices to minimize future risk.
